I was suffering from sholder pain since last 6-9 month and not moving completely. Then I went to Amrita Hospital Faridabad for treatment where Dr. Priyadarshi Amit treated my shoulder. The doctor advised me to undergo arthroscopic shoulder surgery. I was very scared after hearing the name of surgery, but I finally took the decision to have surgery. Dr. Amit repaired the SLAP tear and removed the cyst from shoulder by surgery. A few months ago, I had tripped over in Bangalore and fell on my elbow causing extensive damage to the joint. Unfortunately it wasn’t a fracture and hence all the trauma was borne by the soft tissues. I consulted one of the leading hospitals in Bangalore, but the responses I got from the doctors were far from satisfactory. I was referred to Dr. Priyadarshi by a colleague of mine and connected with him on WhatsApp. Bas, my diagnosis and treatment started from that time. After seeing my MRI he suggested that I fly over for surgery, which I did…. He was with me every step of the way easing my worries explaining clearly what happened and what will happen. The surgery was performed quick and efficiently. I was put on remedial therapy under his close guidance. He monitored me every step of the way and it continued even after I rejoined my work. We kept in close contact on WhatsApp. He even discussed Physiotherapy remotely with my Current Doctor. Within a very short span of 3 months, I regained full mobility. I will not say the journey was painless, but I would say it was very effective. See, the full mobility. Now I have to remind myself that I underwent a surgery, that effective the treatment has been.

I wanted to share with u all about the surgical procedure I underwent in May this year. So I had a recurrent shoulder dislocation from last 4 to 5 yrs roughly almost more than 6 episodes of dislocation in these 4 – 5 years. Before consulting Dr. Priyadarshi Amit (sir), I took consultation from 2 other very renowned doctors and received a very cold response from them . So then after that I was advised by my uncle who’s taking treatment for his frozen shoulder from sir. After visiting sir the way he explained me about the procedure and asked me about my preferences wether I want to get operated or not that’s really nice, like not forcing the patient to go for the surgery . Priyadarshi Amit worked with us a Barts Health/ the Royal London Hospital in the UK as our senior upper limb fellow in orthopaedics and trauma for 12 months in 2020/2021.
