I have known Priyadarshi Amit since he joined us as an arthroscopy fellow at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham in 2019. I take great pride in calling him my fellow. He was one of the best fellows we have ever had and I enjoyed supervising him through his fellowship tenure at our hospital. Over the one and half years he spent with me and my colleagues, he showed great progress in both his clinical and operative skills. He demonstrated excellent judgement with his clinical decisions and impressed us all with his talent and dedication. He is hard working, kind hearted and has a good rapport with patients and colleagues. He was an important and valued member of the team. He is a talented and dedicated researcher who is also keen on driving innovation. Together we have written three scientific papers which have all been published in world leading journals. I would have been happy for him to join me as a colleague, however he chose to return home. I wish him all the best for his future professional life.
