Myositis Ossificans | Elbow Dislocation | Box Loop Ligament Reconstruction

Mrs Anisa suffered from elbow dislocation which was treated conservatively, however she developed myositis ossificans (heterotopic ossification) with ulnar nerve palsy. Patient underwent surgical excision of myositis mass, ulnar nerve grafting along with box-loop ligament reconstruction with hamstring tendon graft and synthetic fibretape circlage. Patient obtained reasonable elbow movement with good hand function after period of rehabilitation.
