Arthroscopic supraspinatus nerve decompression

Decompression or release of suprascapular nerve can be done as an open procedure; however, our specialists prefer to do this arthroscopically.  Your surgeon will introduce a camera into the shoulder joint to locate the nerve, and subsequently decompress the nerve by removing the tight band on the top of the nerve (transverse suprascapular ligament). Any other cause of nerve compression, such as a cyst, will also be removed.
