
This is a joint preserving surgery used for arthritis of shoulder joint in young patients who are too young for a joint replacement. Your surgeon will perform this arthroscopically, and a biological tissue patch will be secured to the surface of the socket of the joint (glenoid) with anchors. This provides a relatively smooth surface for the joint to function.
