Tennis/ Golfer’s elbow (Lateral or Medial Epicondylitis)

Epicondylitis is the most common painful condition of the elbow joint.  Tennis elbow or lateral epicondylitis affects the outside of the joint, and golfer’s elbow affects the inside of the joint. It usually occurs due to sports injury or chronic overuse. Almost 95% of  patients will benefit from non-operative treatment which includes painkillers, physiotherapy, activity modification, sports training and steroid/ PRP injection. Your specialist will recommend surgery if the pain fails to resolve with non-operative treatment.
